Qt 5.9 released with Long-Term Support

Qt 5.9.0 has been released!

The Qt Company recently announced that Qt 5.9 will be a Long Term Supported release, receiving patch level releases for the next 3 years. The latter patch releases will be limited to critical security and stability fixes only, in order to reduce the risk of potential regressions, and longer-term support can be purchased from The Qt Company if required.

The stability and support promise of Qt 5.9 makes this release ideal for products with a long development cycle or long maintenance lifetime.
